prison, eyes

i was just reminded of these two very powerful pieces of social/psychological history:

the stanford prison experiment is proving to be extremely relevant today. check out the slide show on the site i've linked above.

and while it's not an experiment per se - another important link to view is jane elliot's - blue eyes/brown eyes third grade lesson in discrimination. it is a classic .
