rediscovering

we used to have this groovy little music "station" at the bar i managed, via the satellite. when i'd forget my cd's, i always played it. i first heard this cat there and immediately fell in heart. i'm a sucker for a poet/anyone with a voice like this/a cello. what can i say? my co-workers would always cringe when i put this into the mix - it was "too depressing." pshaw! if it wasn't on the radio, they wanted nothing to do with it. double pshaw! i'll NEVER understand that mentality.

"o" found its way back to my grateful ears tonight - it is perfect, from beginning to end. that's a big statement for me - rarely do i ever find myself liking an entire cd that isn't ani difranco.

i was singing this song a few ago when i noticed that bebe was pulling gently at his eyelids.

me: what are you doing?
bebe: taking EYES off, silly mommy!

give it a listen. giggle with me.
